Through an in-depth analysis of media content, state policies, and public responses, this study aims to uncover the mechanisms by which religious "clicbait" can influence state policy. In addition, this research will also explore the constitutional implications of this irresponsible journalism practice. Drawing on the legal framework governing freedom of religion and the press, this study will examine the extent to which religious "clicbait" violates constitutional principles and threatens social cohesiveness. This research has a significant contribution to understanding how mass media, as a powerful social force, can shape public perception and influence state policies. The findings of this study are expected to provide policy recommendations to regulate mass media, increase media literacy among the public, and protect public spaces from information manipulation
